It’s difficult for me to contain my glee with this title, because it combines three of my favorite things. To wit, no-brainer shooter action, low rez graphics, and zombies. It’s balanced, efficient, atmospheric, and absolutely a blast to play – a wonderful break from the overwrought idiocy of the Resident Weevil series. The two-gun inventory makes sense, unlike many other 2-d platformers that seem to suggest your character has a portable hole somewhere in his pocket, the gore effects are simple and somehow quite funny, and the explosions look phenomenal.
It’s just shy of 2 megs. Download it, try it, and grin.
