It's graphical style and storyline are both brilliant and the gameplay fair. The best thing about the game is the atmosphere generated by the lack of colour except for bloodstains on the walls. That's ridiculous! Too many people compare 1213 to Yahtzee's more popular Tribly series. 1213 is, in my own opinion, the greatest of Yahtzee's games. I found it completely appealing. The storyline is a little confusing, but remains excellent. The characters are charming, the graphics are lovely and retro, the gameplay is action-packed and there's seemingly nothing wrong with this game. Does this game deserve such a low rating? Why, no. No it does not. This game is the first game in the horror genre that instead of just attacking me with relentless 'scary' things, had slow, creeping horror that I've ever played. I enjoyed the hell out of this game.
