Game Description

6 Days A Sacrifice is the fourth and final installment of the John DeFoe series, which thus far has encompassed 5 Days A Stranger, 7 Days A Skeptic and Trilby's Notes. Since this game is intended to tie up the loose ends left behind by the three previous episodes, it is highly recommended that you play through all of them first.

Avatar-default 5 it hurts
Yahtzee does a great job in sanding the sharp corners of the previous episodes so they fit together smoothly. The interface is back to the point & click fare of 5DaS and 7DaS. The puzzles are slightly strained at times, but nothing too obscure. This time around, the player can’t die – he simply wakes up back in his bed as from a nightmare, which might even pass as part of the plot the first couple of times.

The quality of fear in this episode is a bit distinct from the previous ones – Trilby’s Notes mindscrews are in full force, and while the terror of the lurking killer is present here, the focus is on the titanic, uncaring horror, and how its shadow affects the player and all around him. Sometimes, in the end, evil does win.
