There is a lot of tension or suspense in general, this game is great at producing that, because in the back of your mind you kind of wonder if you got the mine flags right nor not — and as the countdown counts down, the tension builds up; it’s a strong feeling. I think the countdown at the end isn’t a bad thing at all (as another review proposes) but crucial to the emotional experience.
After you “get” the gameplay mechanics it’s simple, there is a method you can use to solve any puzzle if you think quickly enough, but even after that, the game is worth seeing through to the end just for the little story bits that appear when you select a level. The only real flaw the game has is that once you do figure out that method, the game is simple.
