Positives all around: the game is long for an indie RPG (20+ hours), the gameplay mechanics for the battles aren’t typical “choose fight” affairs but require timing (much like Paper Mario), and the storytelling can be enthralling.
The quality of this game is probably too high for me to convey through a review. There are hundreds of great indie games, but only a dozen or two indie game masterpieces, and this is one.
