Avatar-default 4 Interesting concept
This is only a demo version of the game (full version costs $9.99) I was surprised when the game suddenly ended midway through and I couldn’t play the rest of the levels.

Destructible terrain was fun. After leveling up the weapons provided in the demo I spent a good amount of time destroying messing around the environments. There too few puzzles involving the deformation of terrain. Needed to be utilized for more puzzles and platforming (perhaps it does in the full version).

The controls were a little off. The camera didn’t move like other 3rd person games and felt “elastic”. I had a hard time finding a “sweet spot” with the camera sensitivity settings, it was either too slow or too fast when aiming. A target lock or perhaps an aim button to help fine tune aiming would have made things a little easier.

I was surprised to see real time reflections in the water; since my PC is rather old and usually has to settle for LOW settings, these little graphical cues make the game a little more impressive when running on my box. I never experienced any frame drops or graphical glitches so thats a plus. One odd thing; after one play session the game locked out “full screen” in the options, so now I have to play in an annoyingly small window that can’t be resized. (perhaps another feature for the full version only)

Given my financial situation I don’t buy many games anymore. The demo is well worth the download and if you like it, the 10 bucks might be worth it.
