This game was so-so. It’s basically a resource management game where you gradually go from a small caveman to a group of thriving cavepeople.

I didn’t really like the pacing, it started slow and never got much faster. It’s innovative and unique and all, but I found it quite sleepy. This game could easily be run ten times as fast as it is, and it still wouldn’t be challenging.

By far most of the game will be spent waiting: waiting for the cavemen to cook meat, waiting for them to sort berries, waiting for them to pick berries—just waiting. I don’t like games where most of the time is spent waiting, it kind of makes me want to do something else.
