I have to disagree – this is far from just another dating game. Especially since there’s almost no dating in it. The game does on the other hand explore various topics like privacy and sexual orientation. It does this through the school’s social network site, where you, as the teacher, get ability to read everyone’s private messages. The game is well written and it is engaging to see how different people react to events in the game.
On top of this, illustrations are really nice, there’s no grind in the gameplay as the story is always progressing slowly.
I didn’t replay the game to really confirm this, but I got the feeling when I was playing, that I don’t have that much choice as to how things will unfold (except for the dating one of your students – the only dating that you’re doing in there – which explores this morally questionable theme).
All in all, I really enjoyed this game.
