Game DescriptionEveryday Shooter is a top-down shooter similar to Asteroids. The player controls a small dot that must navigate eight different levels. On each level the gameplay dynamics change and the player must figure out how to proceed. As the player interacts with the environment their actions cause music to be procedurally generated. |

There is a lot to say about this game. Really really LOT.
So let’s start with the most important: gameplay.
The shooting system is solid, probably coppied from geometry wars (or some other game before, who cares) and it’s fun to shoot things and watch them explode.
There is, however, much more important reason for why gameplay rocks – there are seven levels in this game and guess what – every level has it’s own rules of gameplay. I am not just talking about different enemies or stuff, no, what I am talking about is completely different game mechanic in each level.
I must admit, there is some unused potential in some levels, an ugly and person would say that some levels have no innovative gameplay at all, but hey, this game already presented much more diversity than any other shooter, so SHUT UP!
Second most important – audio
I won’t praise it too much, so this review isn’t too long, but just listen to this.
A) The music is amazing. It is completely done on guitar and the tunes are way coool.
B) Every enemy you destroy makes a sound, which sometimes creates audio-game connection feeling that CAN compare to what I felt while playing Audiosurf.
C) Every level has it’s song that not only sounds good, but also corresponds what is in the level (play and you’ll understand)
Now there might be some objections to point B, because it doesn’t work as well as it could, but again SHUT UP YOU SHMUCK.
If you still haven’t bought this game already, then for god’s sake DO IT. This is the best investment in your life and I’ll tell you why once more.
A) Gameplay – extreme replayability
B) Audio – great, I still like to play with sounds on even after the tons of lifes I have already wasted with this game
C) Graphics – I haven’t mentioned them, but they ROCK!
D) Unlockables – even more to the replayability ;-)
