Who knows what unknown force forces him to develop games with aim to torture people, maybe the satan himself.
But the satan also sometimes gives him magical power so Messhof can develop a creepy, but unique and brilliant game – Flywrench.
I can imagine Flywrench as a nice colourful innovative flash game, which you hear about few times, play it, have fun with it, but in a month, it is long-forgotten (and after a year all the “big” gaming sites notice it and introduce it in “news”, but that’s different story). But it wouldn’t be him it he didn’t make it a unique experience.
The gameplay is basicly classic sfcavish “im falling, use the up arrow” with few enhancements, creating a unique gameplay. What makes this game so unusual and impossible-to-forget is the minimalistic graphical style, which corresponds with the totally creepy (but in my opinion brilliant) background sounds. You won’t believe me until you play this though.

As soon as I started Flywrench up and heard the screeching “music” I knew I was in for a quality Messhof experience.
But I didn’t know just how big of an experience I was getting into! This game, while difficult, will not let you put it down until you get past the level. I was in this dilemma until I finished the game all in one sitting, never once getting frustrated!
Upon reaching death you’re quickly loaded back to the start of the level pretty much forcing you to “give it one more go”, which of course turns into a vicious circle. And every death seems deserved and completely fair causing you to think on more than one occasion, “wow, I was so close that time, I’ll get it this time for sure”.
The graphics are largely pleasing and the “music” aids the atmosphere. Seriously, if you were to hear the music anywhere else you’d be incredibly displeased and start covering your ears but in Flywrench it’s more than enjoyable.
Now, with simple “get to the end” style games level by level you don’t really expect a very meaningful story. But there is! It’ll keep you entranced and wondering what little snippet of dialogue you’ll be getting next.
If you haven’t already started downloading this game by now then do it!
