This was a nice little game created for one of those YoYo Games contests. You walk around asteroids on all sides, somewhat like how Mario Galaxy works. You collect little flying allies, and use them to save more of them. Then you go on to the next area to repeat the process.

I found the game well done in general but couldn’t get used to the weird gravity mechanics. It takes a lot of mental adjustment to realize that when you’re at the bottom of an asteroid, left means right and right means left, and sometimes left and right mean up and down when you’re on the side of an asteroid. It runs counter to how the brain processes directions to make directions local to the character’s perspective but not local to the player’s perspective. I would have preferred if the view shifted along with the character, with the camera rotating, that’d have been a lot easier to deal with and a lot less confusing. But if you can get past this perspective problem, you’ll probably have a lot of fun with the game.
