This is the game that gave me hope that I could one day create a good game in Flash — it’s the first game I played in Flash that felt like the kind of game I like: games that force you to stay awake. The easiest (although not the only) way to do that is through sheer frantic action, and that’s the method this game uses.
It might not seem too special if you watch someone else play it: basically it’s just another shooter. But when you play it you realize how well-balanced it is and how responsive it feels. It does nothing that games haven’t done before, but it does it in Flash, which hasn’t really been done before, at least not with the result being as playable as it is here.
I feel that of Pixeljam’s games, Dino Run’s quality is unmatched, but this is definitely a strong second place.
Gamma Bros. is a seriously well-done space shooter where you control these guys who fly around in ships and shoot enemy ships. Also, there are power-ups, which make the game more fun. If you like space shooters, you’d like this game. This somewhat reminds me of the dependent video game “Smash T.V.”, but forget that game; this game is better!
