Game DescriptionIn Garden Gnome Carnage, you play a building trying to rid itself of pesky garden gnomes, who are trying to get in through the roof. By moving left and right you can swing around a gnome who is tied to the chimney, knocking off climbing gnomes and cats, and hitting flying sleds. Garden Gnome Carnage is silly, it’s bizarre, and it’s decidedly twisted. It’s also the most fun that I’ve had playing any game in the past year. Turn off your logic, suspend your disbelief, prepare to laugh your rear off when you trigger the Cone Race (you won’t believe me if I told you…) and prepare for the wackiest time you’ve had in ages.
Seriously, that’s it. The music is tinny arcade-style sound, the graphics are pleasantly pixelly, the controls have a little bit of a learning curve – just enough to keep things interesting – and you should download and play this game immediately, if not sooner. What are you waiting for? Every second you aren’t playing, the santa elves are swarming ever closer! Now, darn you! Now! Grab your gnome and save yourself!
Garden Gnome Carnage was a rather awkward Christmas themed game. The idea of it was that you take control of a moving building, with some green outfited dwarf-ish guy with shades bungee jumping on the building. The gameplay is simple; You’re get rid of gnome santas, and also trying to get them away from the building! Also, the green dwarf guy grabs bricks on the building, which explode, when you launch them. This is one of the WEIRDEST video games I have ever played!
