Game Description

In Hoshi Saga 2, you are presented with a series of mini-games and the object of each is to find a hidden star. How the star is hidden and how you find it varies with each game. The levels are presented in a grid, and at the end of each row and column is a hidden mini-game that can only be accessed once every other game in the row/column is beaten. Beating all the hidden games unlocks the credits.

If you’ve played Hoshi Saga you’ll know exactly what to expect. I had no choice but to compare Hoshi Saga 2 to its younger brother. While I’m certainly not disappointed in this second offering it doesn’t reach quite the same level of WOW as the first one did.

This one seemed to be designed to be more casual. The objectives aren’t as challenging to solve, which makes figuring things out less rewarding. That said there are plenty of amazing moments and a few extremely rewarding games.

If you haven’t played Hoshi Saga start with that as there is more value in it. If you have played it and loved it you should definitely play Hoshi Saga 2.
