The best indie remake I know of. This is not so much of a remake but could be seen as more of a follow up to the original. Many of the gameplay elements still remain, but the game got a huge visual overhaul.
This game looks absolutely stunning, not just on a technical level but also on an artistic one. Every enemy, background and special effect is drawn superbly. Hurrican is a beauty to look at but also to play.
The level design is a little straightforward with arrows pointing you to the exit of the stage, but it’s always interesting enough and never gets too repetitive. This isn’t just your typical run and gun platformer/shooter either.. every enemy and situation has to be approached differently.
A must play if you’re a fan of the original.. even if you’re not, it’s a shame if you wouldn’t try this out as I’m sure anyone would enjoy this game!
