Game Description

I Was in the War is a simple action game where the goal is to run as far as you can toward the right side of the screen, while avoiding various opponents, like soldiers, tanks, and helicopters. At any point you can switch over to the other side of the "red line" which acts as a platform.

Picture_11 4 What if Vib Ribbon invaded Poland!?
I Was in the War presents simple, score-based arcade action in a stylish and fun little package.

Think Icy Tower, but with more chaos and a much more hip sensibility. And the line, character scaling, and flip mechanic reminded me of Vib Ribbon. This is a good thing.

The game is well balanced and excellently presented, belying its 3-hour construction time. Check it out if you haven’t already.
