You fly around one of the two cities and either kill people and destroy buildings or go onto several simple missions. Or both. Each time you leave the game, all the cash you got gets saved and you can buy extra weapons and upgrades later. Pretty mindless and violent but quite enjoyable.
There are few things though, that doesn’t allow the game to reach the full fun potential its concept bears.
First, everything in the city is destructible. It sounds great on paper, but rememeber that the game is set on a simple 2d plane. Imagine trying to hit specific person with your sniper rifle. You are bound to hit something else, because almost everything can be hit by the bullets. Including walls in the backdrop. It’s frustrating. A lot.
Second thing – for a mindless violent action game, Jetz Rampage is a bit too hard. Really, I want to destroy things, not get frustrated because I can’t find that one last hidden vibrator on time.
