<body>It is often said that a sequel will never live up to the legacy of it's progenitor. Karoshi 2.0 proved to be an exception to this, but Karoshi Factory, unfortunately, does not.

What turned me on to Karoshi 2.0 was its streak of humor and unexpected outcomes to its myriad puzzles, as well as its subversion of various game elements (such as a level with coins upon platforms in which you should refrain from jumping...). Karoshi Factory, however, seems to lack many of these elements. With fewer music options, simpler puzzles, less humor and shorter gameplay than Karoshi 2.0, it feels more like a proper sequel to the original than Karoshi 2.0 turned out to be, a "missing link" in the game's evolution which was previously discarded only to turn up now.

If you're a fan of the Karoshi series, it might be worth your time to check out, but you probably won't be interested in keeping it after a single play-through. If you're just looking into the Karoshi series for the first time, I recommend playing Karoshi, Karoshi Factory, and then Karoshi 2.0 to enjoy the experience more fully.</body>

<body>After I finished Karoshi 2.0, I was saddened as I had finished one true joy of gaming. When karoshi factory came out, I leapt at the chance to continue that experience. it wasn't the same experience but change is good, right?

Karoshi factory factors in the use of 2 or more characters under your control. This new mechanic was intriguing and was executed well. However, the cheek and humour seen in the first 2 karoshi games was absent which wasn't cool.

As a side note - The music is awesome!</body>
