A wonderful surprise!by beethy
Mighty Jill Off is one of those games that really surprised me with how fun the gameplay actually was. The objective in this game is to get as hiiiigh as you can by jumping past and over various obstacles. Jill jumps really high, and you can slow her falling speed down by pressing the jump button (Kind of like the Raccoon powerup in Super Mario Brothers 3). It works surprisingly well!
It’s simple yet advanced enough to make the higher floors very tricky, yet it’s never too impossible.
The style and artistic direction the creators went for feels reminiscent of old MSX1 games.
This game is in my opinion one of the best indie games of 08.
