The art is absolutely sublime and the animation is wonderfully fluid. The gameplay is nice and quick. Hordes of enemies to launch into oblivion. Also be prepared for fantastic and amazing boss battles. The main qualm I have with this game is that the gameplay simply becomes much too repetitive, even with the unlockable characters.. it just gets old after a while. All this talk of small teams making games on low budgets, and this is one of the only games that, in my opinion, truly compare with the heyday of 16-bit 2D platformers, games that were often made on low budgets and by just a few people. And this was made by one guy!
