The game’s main objective is being found. For that, you have to attract enough attention by writing HELP on the beach with rocks, making huge bonfires and such. The secondary objective is trying to stay alive. Now that’s where the hard part begins. Some people might find the challenge entertaining, but the very slow-pace of the game and the little time to explore and quench your needs (which empty too fast) just kill the overall experience for me.
The game controls are relatively-easy. You click anywhere and your character moves where you clicked. To do actions such as searching around, cutting down trees and stuff, you use the buttons at right side. It’s not the greatest designed menu, but does the trick.
In a nutshell, Schiffbruck could be much better a game, it might appeal to some, but I believe many will find the gameplay frustrating. If you don’t have the patience or enough free time for getting used to the game, I say skip this one.
