One of the most expertly crafted pieces I’ve ever played that has a well-earned place in IF canon. That “Aha” moment, when everything clicks into place about 2/3 through – it’s perfect.
The only flaw, in my mind, is that it’s so damn difficult. I’m a fan of the poetic “gallery walk” IF with reasonably easy puzzles… but this. The puzzles are intertwined so deeply with the structure and the plot that the extreme difficulty is acceptable.
Play this thing. Right now.
