Stalker_small 5 You're a shmup.

Calling this game a shmup (shoot ‘em up) and is like calling Grand Theft Auto a driving game. The core of the game is a shmup, yes, but the game brings together several elements that make it much more. If you’re not a fan of shmups, like me, give this game a try anyway.

Pros:

- Upgrading is simple and adds a lot to the game. Not only can you upgrade your ships but you can upgrade the “mother ship” (Aegis).

- Enemies are varied and, because of this, the fights are fun.

- Boss battles are also good and add plenty of challenge especially if you’re not prepared.

Cons:

- The interface is severely lacking.

- The story isn’t great and the characters are dull.

- Mining isn’t fun yet it can take up much of your time.
