Game DescriptionSunset Over Imdahl is a non-battle RPG that takes place in a city under siege. You play as Lohn, a young boy who is the sole survivor of the siege. Wandering the streets in desperation, Lohn meets a nobly-dressed man who offers him a chance to bring his hometown back to life. Without knowing his intentions, Lohn accepts on the man's offer, and the game begins. |

4/5. The content and story are decent, if at times faintly tedious (fetch quests are prone to this), with a poignant ending which for me was somewhat dissatisfying, but not terrible. Wonderful choice of high-quality-file music. I have a few issues which kept the game from being rated higher, though. First, the overreliance on Chrono Trigger sprite rips is incredibly disappointing when compared to the pleasant, Legend of Mana-esque hand-drawn backgrounds. Second, call me nostalgic, but multiple endings would have been welcome – particularly one in the opposite vein of the actual outcome – objection withdrawn if New Game + offers anything of the like.
