I love this god damned game.

The visual style, at first, bothered me, but grew on me over time. Beautiful. The blood splurts and splashes, mixed with the prevalence of zombies, machine guns, chainsaws, metal, and what the fuck guitar hero? really just added up to some wonderful, mind numbing fun.

At first, I admit, it WAS hard to see your character. There are some moments where he kind of blends in with the background. But after you figure it out, that complaint, which is what I hear most often, is easily overlooked.

It sounds great, it looks great. The story is… I don’t know, I think its kind of retarded, honestly. Theres something going on with cyborgs, and a missing heart, zombies, and just overall I just ignored it, mainly.

The addition of the guitar is not a selling point- if you’re buying this for that, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. Its an awesome little minigame, and I love it, trust me, but it IS small.

The learning curve here is pretty steep. You’ll find yourself naturally good at this kind of game or extremely frustrated at first. Personally, I love it. Getting kicked in the balls a bit by a game is a welcomed feature.

Oh, and, bee tee dubs? There’s co-op! And an arcade mode! And, if I remember correctly, like 5 difficulty levels! For 800 MS points, this was very satisfying.

Great stuff. Made by one person? Seriously, amazing.

5/5!
