XEvil is unfair, twisted (with a power tool that is), relentless, and it doesn't matter, as you'll be too busy laughing your head off - containing it's your kind of humor. If it isn't, you'll have moved on by now. It's crude in the visual and auditory departments, yet it manages to make it a source of - again, twisted - charm. The characters are unbalanced, which makes it feel real. Its originality comes from the characters' (of which you'll be allocated one randomly in each of your lives) differing abilities, such as using weapons and drugs, flying, climbing ladders and walls, and so on. There's a great variety of weapons and objects, some of them being rare and powerful (granted after defeating a "boss" of which there were two types last time I've checked) -- and when you think you've seen enough, you'll come across the Altar of Hell.
